About Me

My name is Courtney Murphy. I am a wife and mother of two beautiful, spitfire children. I was raised on a farm in southwest North Dakota and keep those roots near and dear to my heart.

Riding horse, spending time outdoors, or just relaxing with family are among my favorite things to do. I love to smile and make people smile, but most of all, I love to see the beauty in others and preserve that beauty in a photo.

It took me a long time to realize how big of a role photography played in my life. I was always the family photographer, always asking for a new camera for Christmas, and as I got older (before cell phone cameras were a thing), I always kept a digital camera packed in my purse (a Nikon Coolpix to be specific). It was just something I always did. I never considered sharing my passion until my family told me that I should turn my love into a career.

I took the plunge and I am so happy I did. The people I get to meet and the memories we create are priceless.

I truly believe that everyone deserves to have beautiful photos taken of themselves or of their family at some point in their life and I am always honored to be chosen for these moments.
